Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina through the ground and pound strategy, resulting in an TKO second round victory. In her second fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous decision.
